Vehicle reservation

GOGOCAR allows you to choose the car based on your needs and/or your tastes and we constantly strive to ensure that the chosen car is waiting for our customers on the day of collection. In extreme cases, if this is not possible, you will be informed of the replacement and a vehicle of the booked category or higher will be delivered to you 

You can pick up the car at our office located in Via Simone Martini 135, well connected to the Laurentina metro B stop. Or request the delivery service directly at the airport or at your hotel, as long as the structure is located within the GRA.

The answer is very simple, for as long as you want! 

We are open from Monday to Friday from 9:00 to 18:00 excluding holidays. If you need to pick up your car on Saturday, write to us.

We recommend that you write to us through the various channels specifying the period and possibly the request for unlimited mileage.

We will provide you with a tailor-made quote as soon as possible.

A rental day is equivalent to 24 hours from the time of collection and the cost is always the same even in case of early return.

Delivery after the scheduled time will incur the payment of an extra day's rental, however there is a minimum of flexibility so do not hesitate to let us know your needs.

There is no need to wash the outside of the car, it is sufficient to collect any objects or waste present inside. A penalty of €40 + VAT will be applied only in case of deep dirt that requires special cleaning.

Rental requirements

You will be asked: 

  • Valid identity document
  • Driving license (issued for at least 12 months) 
  • Credit card in your name
  • If you are resident in a country that is not part of the EU you will also have to present your passport
NB It is not possible to rent any of our vehicles without a credit card, Not therefore, Bancomat, prepaid or Postepay cards are allowed
  • Minimum age of 21 years

You can rent provided you are 21 years of age or older and have held a valid driving license for at least 12 months. 

Yes, if you have all the requirements for driving vehicles. An extra cost of €5 per day per person will be applied for the total duration of the rental, so if you book directly on the site you must enter this information accurately.  

NB We will ask you a few days before your rental to communicate the data of the additional driver so that we can insert it in the rental agreement

Deductibles and Coverage

All vehicles are covered by RC insurance which guarantees coverage of Civil Liability towards third parties.

There is no coverage for driver injuries.

 

For any passive or joint claim the deductible is €1000.00; for theft €2000.00

In the event of an accident, it is necessary to fill in the CAI form, present in all our cars, and contact a rental assistant to be assisted in the procedure to follow

In the event of theft, contact a rental assistant and follow the instructions provided

 

Security Deposit and Rental Payment

On the day of picking up the vehicle, you will be asked to leave a security deposit by credit card

The amount varies according to the vehicle category: 

  • Economy: €500.00
  • Intermediate: €600.00
  • Luxury: €800.00

On the day of return, the car will be checked and any damage to the vehicle not present on the day of departure will be reported to you. If the car does not show any damage, the security deposit will be returned to you within 5 working days

If you don't have any special requests or doubts about your booking, you can pay for your rental in total autonomy and directly on our website via Stripe payment 

Alternatively, you can choose to pay with your credit or debit card in your name at our office on the day of collection.

Fuel Policy and Km Included

No, the rental cost does not include fuel. We follow the policy “PICK UP FULL-RETURN FULL”, the vehicle must be returned with the same fuel level it had at the time of collection.

If this does not happen, the cost of the missing refueling + the cost of the service for the non-refueling will be charged.

 

By booking directly on the site, the kilometers are unlimited. For personalized quotes, especially in the case of longer rentals, it depends on the monthly fee that is proposed (standard fees include between 10,000 and 15,000 km per year). So do not hesitate to contact us for medium or long-term rentals.

Vehicles can be used in all countries listed on the Green Card

Fines

All fines are notified to GOGOCAR which provides for the payment and debit of the report to the offender with the related management costs
